Our vetting process aims to identify developers and enhance transparency in the crypto industry. Specifically, our KYC verification process includes the following steps:

• Identity Verification: We collect [multiple forms of] identification documents from project members and verify their legitimacy using a third-party verification platform, conducting live checks and obtaining individual risk scores.
• KYC Questionnaire: We send the project a questionnaire to gather information from internal project members and obtain documentary evidence of their roles.
• Investigation & Review: We analyze and review the information collected through the aforementioned procedures.

The date indicated on a Badge for a project signifies the completion date of our KYC verification process for that project. Therefore, the presence of a Badge does not imply that we have conducted any procedures or renewed the KYC verification process at any time after the Badge date. Additionally, our Badge does NOT guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided by developers, nor does it ensure that individuals will refrain from malicious actions or that we can detect frauds perpetrated using “deep fake” or other sophisticated technologies. The Badge serves as an indication that we have made commercially reasonable efforts to complete our KYC procedures as of the Badge date.
